FESTIVE DIGITAL CAMPAIGN

  1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by The South African Breweries (Pty) Limited (“Promoter”) and is open to all persons of 18 years or older and resident in South Africa, except the employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, the Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and outlet owners and staff.
  2. Participation by all consumers (“Participants”) constitutes acceptance of these rules and you give Promoter your consent to market its products and campaigns to you, using the details provided by yourself.
  3. These rules may be amended by notification at any time during the Competition, and will be interpreted by the Promoter only. Participation by all entrants (“Participants”) constitutes acceptance of these rules.

  5. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Competition in its entirety and/or its value.
  6. In the event of an amendment, alteration and/or cancellation the Promoter will not compensate any individual for any reason whatsoever.
  7. These rules and any amendments thereto will be interpreted by the Promoter only.
  8. Competition Period: The Competition will run from the 28th November to 9 December 2016. Only between Monday - Friday.
  9. Prize/s:
    1. Each day, during the Competition Period participants, who enter on the day, will stand a chance to win 1 x Six-Pack of Hansa Pilsener 330 NRB’s Prize (total of 44 x six-packs given away per day during the Competition Period).
  10. Entry, Prize Determination, Draw and Winner Notification:
    1. Hansa Pilsener 330NRB six-pack, Participants must follow Hansa Pilsener’s Twitter account (@HansaPilsener) during the Competition Period, and look for the instructions. Participants will be prompted to Retweet a specific tweet by @HansaPilsener between (12pm and 6pm), only the participants that retweet will be eligible to win a 6 pack. From 6pm the winners will be randomly selected and notified via an automated Direct Message to their Twitter Handle with a wiVoucher for 6 x Hansa Pilsener 330Ml bottles  (one six pack). Should the winner not follow @HansaPilsener they will not be able to receive the automated message and will forfeit their prize.  The wiVoucher that is sent with the notification can only be redeemed at Shoprite / Checkers Liquor Outlets by participants who can prove that they are over 18 years of age through positive identification. Positive identification is limited to one of the following Green Bar Coded South African ID book, Valid Passport, or Valid Drivers Licence
  11. No person may win more than once in this Competition.
  12. Prize Redemption:
    1. The winners will receive a wicode via Direct Message on their Twitter Handle.  In order to receive a direct message on Twitter the Participant has to follow @HansaPilsener. The voucher is only redeemable at participating Shoprite Liquor Shops nationally and must be redeemed within 90 days of receipt of the wicode.
  13. Prize/s will only be awarded to the winner/s upon successful verification of the winner/s, failing which such winner/s will be disqualified and no Prize and/or compensation will be awarded to such winner/s.
  14. A winner may only collect/redeem against his/her own voucher/s. No person may collect the prize on behalf of a Winner and neither may one winner collect on behalf of another winner.
  15. The participating store will only give the Prize:
    1. To the verified Winner,
    2. On the voucher that the Winner is redeeming against, and
    3. Only after the winner is verified.
    4. Proof of identity will be required to be produced for verification purposes.
  16. The winner must therefore have available, on each occasion, when redeeming the Prize, the voucher details on his/her mobile phone and his/her driver’s licence or S.A. green bar-coded ID or ID Card.
  17. In the absence of proof of ID and voucher details the store will not allow the redemption.
  18. The Promoter and/or its Agent/s is/are not liable for, inter alia, the store not having stock of the Prize, store system being down, store trading hours, lost wicodes, transport costs.
  19. Further, in the event that any winner/s loses access to their Twitter Account from which the entry was made, and fails to provide the wiCode the Promoter is under no obligation to change the Twitter Handle and will bear no responsibility or liability to such winner/s in the event that the Prize in any month/s is redeemed by the incorrect person. It is the responsibility of the winner to notify the promoter of such instances; the Promoter will, in its discretion (and under no obligation whatsoever) determine if anything can be done to assist the winner/s. Proof, as deemed sufficient by the Promoter, will be required to be provided to the Promoter.
  20. The Prize/s cannot be transferred, exchanged for its cash value or for an alternate prize/s.
  21. Promoter is not responsible for any entries not received timeously or at all.
  22. Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any Winner/s to verify their eligibility and the validity of the winner’s entry.
  23. The Promoter may use personal information, supplied voluntarily by you, for marketing purposes for their other products and campaigns (refer to clause 2 above).
  24. The Promoter will not share any of your personal information with any third party except where such disclosure is necessary to enable The Promoter to provide, deliver or in any other way give effect to these Rules and/or the Prize/s, where such disclosure is required by law or where consent to Promoter sharing your personal information is obtained from Participant/s.
  25. Participants can choose to Opt-out of receiving communication from Hansa Pilsener and the Promoter company at any time by responding to Promoter on the communication Twitter direct message received.
  26. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  27. Promoter may make media announcements / publications of the names / photographs of winner/s, provided that any winner/s may expressly elect to decline this. Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any winner/s to verify their eligibility.
  28. All Participants and winners indemnify Promoter, its associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents, against any / all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever connected to or arising out of their participation in any way in this Competition.
